Audiometry

An audiometric testing program should be available to any employee likely to be regularly exposed to hazardous noise at work.

WorkCover NSW recommends that an audiometric testing scheme should include a hearing test on commencement of employment, or prior to exposure to workplace noise and then at regular intervals of every one to two years.
